Toki Arts Week 2015 is co-organized by Zuni Icosahedron, Jiangsu Performing Arts Group Kun Opera Theatre (Nanjing) and Nanjing Museum (Nanjing) and Japan Foundation (Tokyo). It is part of the “Toki Project – Preservation and Development of the Traditional Performing Arts”, which encompasses a rich programme of workshops, lectures, creative camps as well as an arts festival.


Toki Project is initiated and curated by Zuni Icosahedron. Collaborating artists come from Tokyo, Beijing, Nanjing, Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta etc. It is an endeavour to enhance interaction between great Asian performing artists and young performer of Kunqu, to facilitate young traditional performing artists, well grounded in knowledge and techniques, to attempt for innovation and experiments in the context that traditional performing arts sees immense challenges for its development and preservation.
