The Trial – Cool Wind Whispers
Studio Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre
22-23/11/2013 (Fri, Sat) 8pm
24/11/2013 (Sun) 3pm

Presented & Produced by Zuni Icosahedron

In Collaboration with Jiangsu Performing Arts Group Kun Opera House

Programme of “ARCHITECTURE IS ART FESTIVAL 2013”

The stage of The Trial is an experimental space formed by four mirrors. The concept of the performances comes from Kafka’s novel of the same title. The performance of The Trial includes three new original experimental pieces, Awakening, Cool Wind Whispers and Contempt.

The prelude of Cool Wind Whispers starts off with the beginning of a Nanyin Opera on stage, “When autumn arrives, cool breezes will naturally follow, with the moon hanging on the boundless sky.” Performing artists come from the four places of China, Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand, and they are Ke Jun from Nanjing, Pun Tak Shu from Hong Kong, Makoto Matsushima from Tokyo and Manop Meejamrat from Bangkok. This is another cross-generation and cross-cultural project engineered by Zuni following Book of Ghosts of 2009.
