Good Wind Like Water was a multi-media music theatre on the topic of Song Ci (lyrics of the Song Dynasty). The performance was divided into two parts, Good Wind and Like Water. The first part was directed by Mathias Woo, with Yongyule by the poet Su Shi as the text for the image and music, with the participation of Shi Xiaomei, the Kunqu Opera artist from the Mainland, and Valen Hsu, the pop singer from Taiwan. Like Water was directed by Danny Yung, with the backdrop of Song Ci during the transitional period of the Southern Song and the Northern Song. The veteran and well-known local singer, Rebecca Pan; and a former member of Zuni from San Francisco, Pia Ho, were invited to participate in the performance for some new cross-culture and cross-discipline dynamics.
